Just present your COSTA RICA CARD® and your ID at the establishments properly identified as Costa Rica Card Affiliated Establishment before you acquire their product or services.

COSTA RICA CARD® allows you to obtain direct discounts and great savings from hotels, car rentals, restaurants, local tours, souvenir shops, drug stores and much more.

COSTA RICA CARD® is valid for 3 months (maximum tourist visa period allowed in Costa Rica). Once you get your COSTA RICA CARD® you must sign it and date it so it becomes activated.

In addition, COSTA RICA CARD® comes with both a life insurance policy and a repatriation of remains policy. The policy was specially developed by the National Insurance Institute (INS) of Costa Rica. Your COSTA RICA CARD® also includes information of interest to assist you with any type of emergency and travel aid (see affiliated establishments).

There are no more conditions, except, of course, availability of the service (e.g. car rental or hotel room) at the time you request it.

Your COSTA RICA CARD® will pay off in most cases the first day you use it, from then on there are only benefits and major savings.
